The Crossroads Café and Beautiful Gate
The Crossroads Café is a conference centre and restaurant with a difference. Situated in the heart of Cape Town's Crossroads township, the venue provides a unique South African experience. The Café is situated on the grounds of Beautiful Gate, a Child and Family Resource Centre in Lower Crossroads. Founded in 1994, Beautiful Gate started as a children's home in Old Crossroads, later moving to their present site on Stock Road. Services on site are focussed on empowering families and building a safe environment for children and include a Children's Home and Hospice, Youth Resource Centre, children's sports field and Family Preservation Services to assist families with social services, career guidance, skills development and job searching.
